The Washington Trumpet Guild is dedicated to providing a great festival experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. For this reason, we will not tolerate any form of harassment of festival participants. Festival participants found to be engaging in harassment may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without refund. We expect participants to follow these rules at all festival venues and related social spaces such as eating establishments.
The Washington Trumpet Guild is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate in the terms, conditions, or privileges of employment on account of gender, sexuality, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion, or otherwise as may be prohibited by federal and state law. Any employee, board member, volunteer, or member believing they or any other affiliate of the Washington Trumpet Guild has been discriminated against is strongly encouraged to report this concern promptly to the WTG president.
Harassment or intimidation of a client, staff person, or guest because of that person’s gender, sexuality, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion is specifically prohibited and may be grounds for action. Harassment and intimidation includes abusive, foul, or threatening language or behavior. The Washington Trumpet Guild is committed to maintaining a space and workplace free of any such harassment and will not tolerate discrimination against employees, board members, volunteers, or members. Issues of discriminatory treatment, harassment, or intimidation on any of these bases should immediately be reported to the president and, if substantiated, prompt action will be taken.
